San Francsico

Monday was a day to spend in San Francisco, so no serious riding planned. Debbie reminded me that we were on Lombard Street which is home to the crookedest street so we rode to that neighborhood to check it out. It was definitely crooked and steep down hill. The video does not show me picking the bike off the pavement at the bottom.

We spent much of the balance of the day at fisherman’s wharf, the aquarium and taking a bay cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. We bought fleece jackets to help fight the wind and Debbie spotted a Harley shop on the way back to the hotel for our California shot glass.

After some rest at the hotel we walked a few blocks to dinner. We continued to debate whether to continue the cold ride along the coast or take 101 which is farther inland. We got some good advice from a young couple at the next table.
