Day Seven... Flagstaff to Vegas

I woke early today and spent some time talking to 2 riders staying at our hotel, riding in the opposite direction.

The morning was cool, seems to be a pattern, but soon we began to feel the heat. Debbie shed her leather, I decided to use mine as sun protection inspite of the heat. For me I think this was the best choice because I felt less dehydrated at the end of the day... of course the day was shorter than what we had been doing.

We got off the insterstate after a couple of hours and rode US 93 towards Vegas. After a stop for lunch and photos at the Hoover Dam we continued on and arrived at our hotel around 1:30. This will certainly be the nicest place we will stay on this trip, and interestly will cost nothing as it is a timeshare deal and supposedly All we have to do is listen to a 2 hour sales pitch on Wednesday.

I rode to the dealership to try and get a new horn as mine was damaged in the flood back in Louisiana on Day 2... I was hoping to get am air horn similar to those you see on big trucks, but they didn't have what I wanted, I will keep looking for now, but may go back and get a stock replacement before we leave town.

I have found the pool and pool bar, and I think we will make that our next stop.

You should get a horn that sounds like a horse "Neigh...." People would notice you then!
